S. M. Riazul Islam has been working at the the Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering, Sejong University, South Korea as an Assistant Professor Since March 2017. Before coming to Sejong, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Inha University for the period October 2014 to February 2017. From March 2014 to September 2014, Dr. Islam was with the Samsung Research Institute Bangladesh (SRBD) as a Chief Engineer. Before that, he worked at University of Dhaka (DU) as an Assistant Professor and Lecturer at the Dept. of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) for the period September 2005 to March 2014.
Dr. Islam completed his PhD degree in Information and Communication Engineering with the specialization in Wireless Communications from Inha University, South Korea in February 2012, under the supervision of Prof. Kyung-Sup Kwak. Before that, he completed the MS and BS degrees in Applied Physics and Electronics from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2005 and 2003, respectively.
